1. To commemorate the 135th anniversary of the birth of former Academia Sinica President Wang Shih-Chieh, Academia Sinica is organizing the “Knowledge Feast – President Wang Shih-Chieh Popular Science Lecture.” This year's lecture will feature Dr. Yen-Sheng Chiang, recipient of the 2025 Wang Shih-Chieh Memorial Lecture Award and Research Fellow and Deputy Director of the Institute of Sociology, Academia Sinica. Dr. Chiang will deliver a lecture titled:“When Taiwanese Encounter Chinese and Americans: How Do We View This Subtle Triangular Relationship?”(The event poster is attached.)

4. Registration
Participants are welcome to register for the in-person lecture before March 23, 2026. Please note the following:
(1) Registration is conducted online. In addition, 30 on-site registration slots will be available on the day of the event. Registration at the reception desk will begin at 6:00 PM, and slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
(2) If you are unable to attend after registering, please cancel your registration online before March 23, 2026, so as not to affect your future registration privileges.
(3) The lecture recording will be edited and uploaded to Academia Sinica’s YouTube channel after the event (there will be no live stream).
5. On-site Participants Will Receive
(1) A popular science publication will be given upon on-site check-in, while supplies last.
(2) Participants who drive to the venue may present their registration confirmation email at the entrance to receive free parking.
(3) Civil servants will receive 1 hour of lifelong learning credit, and teachers will receive 1.5 hours of professional development credit.
