To commemorate the 134th birthday of the late President Hu Shih, Academia Sinica is organizing the "Feast of Knowledge – President Hu Shih Popular Science Lecture." We are honored to invite Dr. Yu-Lin Li, Deputy Director and Research Fellow at the Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy and recipient of the 2024 Hu Shih Memorial Lecture Award, to deliver a lecture titled "The Tactile Eye: Sensory Encounters in VR Cinema."(Please see the attached poster.)

Participants are welcome to register online by December 15, 2025. Please note the following:

• (1) Online registration is required. An additional 30 on-site registration spots will be available, with sign-in starting at 6:00 PM at the venue on the event day. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

• (2) If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration online before December 15 to avoid affecting your future registration eligibility.

• (3) A video recording of the lecture will be edited and uploaded to Academia Sinica's YouTube channel after the event (no live streaming).
