🌈 Looking for a course you want to take—but can’t find it anywhere?
Want to learn something new—but it’s not even on the course list?
Trying to take a class with friends—but stuck because of the budget?

We hear you—and now the opportunity is here!

🎯 Introducing the “MiniHorizon Project”!
A pilot program launched by the Center for General Education, allowing students to propose, recruit, and run their own courses.

All you need is:
✔ A passionate idea
✔ A faculty advisor willing to support you
✔ A group of like-minded learners (20 students is enough to form a class)

Submit an application—and once it’s approved, you may even receive funding support!

📝 Application Guidelines (Please Read Carefully)

1️⃣ Forming a Class & Submitting Documents

Applicants should appoint one representative, and submit the following documents to the Center for General Education:

• MiniHorizon Project Application Form

• Appendix I: Course Proposal and Implementation Plan

• Appendix II: Microcredit Course Application Form for the Microcredit Course Management System (used for course review)

• Statement of Agreement

• Personal Data Consent Form

2️⃣ Application Deadline

Please submit your application at least 1.5 months before the course begins, to allow sufficient time for the review process.

3️⃣ Final Report Submission

A final report (Appendix III) must be submitted within one month after the course ends.

4️⃣ Reimbursement Submission

Reimbursement documents must be submitted within one month after the event ends, including honorarium receipts, invoices, and other required proof.

5️⃣ Survey Completion

All participants must complete the survey within one month after the event ends, to help us improve and optimize the program.

💡 Additional Notes

The Center will assist student-proposed courses through the review process and complete the course registration procedure in the Microcredit Course Management System.

Once approved, participating students will be able to officially accumulate General Education microcredit hours through the system.

📌 Remarks

This is a pilot program, and spots are limited—applications will be accepted until all funding is allocated.

So if you’ve been wanting to create the course you actually want to learn—now is the time!
